The Song#

Our song “Datenbank” originated from a jam session in Bremen in 2024. After several live performances, our listeners dubbed it a “smash hit,” so we headed for the studio in 2025 to record it.

Now, in early 2026, we’re taking the plunge and releasing “Datenbank” via the Berlin-based distributor RecordJet. We hope you enjoy it!

Where can I listen to “Datenbank”?#

Pretty much anywhere you stream music! Examples:

Who exactly is HudL?#

Hannes und die Luken, or HudL for short, is a band project born of fun, founded in 2024. The three musicians from Bremerhaven and Bremen - featuring the classic rock lineup of guitar, drums, and electric bass guitar - weave everyday lyrics together with catchy melodies.

Quite a few listeners find themselves involuntarily hitting “repeat.” And they certainly don’t regret it!

Lineup#

  • Lucas Freund - Guitar and lead vocals
  • Hannes Christen - Drums and backing vocals
  • Lukas Preußer - Bass and backing vocals

Thanks for the help#

We had helping hands behind the scenes. Without them, we never could have released our music so quickly or at such high quality. A big thank you goes to Lennert Röthemeyer for the drum recording, and to Feliks Weber and his Nocturn Studios for bass recording, mixing, and mastering!
